I purchased the Cape Cod value package on August 20, 1997. In my earlier college days, I happen to break my left leg in a skiing accident. My left leg was broken in three separate breaks between the knee and ankle. My wife has a shoulder injury (rotary cuff). I believe her collegiate career came to an end. The spa was purchased for “turning water into therapy.”
As time went by, I was diagnosed with treatable testicle cancer. December 10th, 1999, my primary care physician preformed a routine examination and discovered the irregularity. Cancer is a devastating disease. I was under the watchful eye of my oncologist. Mass general hospital recommended 3 months of radiation treatments. I was pleased to have my spa. I would return from daily radiation treatment, very exhausted and sick. The sap was set 100F and helped immensely with the abdominal pain. I was in the spa every other day to relieve the pain. I was able to continue to work (half days) for the full 3 months. My employer and family were very proud. I was able to overcome the challenge I encountered with Cancer. I am sure without the spa to relieve my pain my recovery would have been of longer duration.
I have a very active 13 year old son. My son’s name is Raphael Thomas Tremblay. Raphael is involved with basketball, and volleyball. I encouraged him to relax in the spa before and after a game. He joins his dad in the spa and we have many personal and truthful conversations in the spa. He has come to appreciate this time discussing how being healthy is so important. He is old enough to just jump in anytime to relieve stress, athletic pain, and just for plain fun. I guess you have another future ThermoSpa customer.
My wife Margaret is a sociable person in the spa. She’ll have a party all around our spa. She loves to entertain our friends. The spa is located in the middle of a 12x20 foot deck. She has located numerous flowers and plants around the spa. On occasion you may catch us here around midnight.
The spa was a wonderful purchase in 1997. I was unaware of any health problems going forward, but it is always nice to jump in the tub.
