I am writing to you to let you know how much my Phoenix Elite hot tub has meant to me. When I first bought the hot tub I thought of it as a luxury convenience that the whole family could enjoy. I actually felt somewhat guilty for spending money on such a frivolous item as our own personal hot tub. I remember that I did not tell anyone for quite a while. I have owned it for several years now and it has proven to be much more than fun, it has actually improved the quality of my life.

Two years ago I was the victim of another example of senseless school violence. I, and my students, were held hostage at gunpoint by a very deranged and angry young man. The aftermath of dealing with the anguish and stress of the event brought on intense migraine headaches. I also fell into a deep state of depression. Consequently I have been in and out of various treatment centers for post traumatic stress disorder and depression. I am on several medications to help control both the mental and physical conditions that have resulted. It has been a long and ongoing process that has taken it’s toll on not only me but my family as well. My wife divorced me due to the stress and friction that was created. I was very sick but did not understand what to do to get help. I don’t believe that I even realized that I was sick. I had to take on an early retirement due to my debilitating migraine headaches which ahs ended my 26 year career as a teacher.

After seeing many doctors I am slowly improving. The uncontrollable migraines continue to be my biggest obstacle with some lasting an entire week. My doctors suggested that I try to relax by using a whirlpool hot tub therapy. I had not used the hot tub for over a year. I began to use it and the difference of the severity and the duration of the headaches has considerably improved. I feel that the total relaxation of both the physical and mental stresses has really improved my condition. The hot tub that I bought as a “luxury” has now become a real lifesaver. I can not imagine living without it now.
