Well, here goes. I am writing for both my husband and myself. My husband has had a chronic back condition for many years for which he has received hundreds of chiropractic treatments, hundreds of hours of bed rest, back exercises, pain killers, and the like. Recently we were introduced to magnetic therapy, electric acupuncture (electric stimulation) as a supplement to other back treatments, all of which helped to some degree.

As a result of working at a facility with a therapeutic pool ( a larger version of a spa) his back condition has been helped tremendously – Less pain, more mobility, which leads to less stress, which as we now know, leads to less pain, less medication, fewer days off from work, and a happier person. However, the therapeutic pool is not always available to him, so when his back had taken a substantial turn for the worse, he was without his substantial help.

About a year ago, while on the internet, he found ads for portable spas and we noted ThermoSpas, nearest location, in Wallingford, CT. We decided to get your literature and video, and VOILA!, we bought the concord model in September 2000.

It is great! It not only soothes aching muscles, everywhere you can think of – backs, ankles (for a recurring sprained ankle), knees, feet (entrapped nerve with recurrent surgery/ needles and the like) – it is a marvelous way to unwind from a long day of work for the both of us (2 hour round trip for me) which alone creates stress and tension which no one needs more of.

When we are home, we removed the spa cover, turn on the bubbler, and get ready to relax in warm and sooth water (with accompanying music ), and you can just melt away all of your aches and pains (both mentally and physically). I, at first, was hesitant to try and get into 97-degree water (only familiar with cold water in a swimming pool or lake), but once you acclimate yourself to it – it is quite the sensation. By far, the best purchase we have made in a long time!
